The greatest love story every told has finally been released in graphic novel form. This epic cult-phenomenon created by Tom Neely's art-fraternity The Igloo Tornado features comics, gags, short stories and more about the domestic life of "Henry" and "Glenn" and sometimes their neighbors "Daryl" and "John." The original book by the four members of Igloo Tornado was followed by a second volume "Forever & Ever" edited by Tom Neely and includes over 50 artists doing their own takes on this power-couple. Order both the original and the second book from www.microcosmpublishing.com

Tom Neely's first graphic novel was self-published in 2007 and won an Ignatz Award for "Promising New Talent." A nearly-wordless, surrealistic tale about a man plagued by a giant blot of ink that slowly consumes his life. Critically acclaimed throughout the indie comics scene, it landed on The Comics Journal's Top 100 Graphic Novels.

In 2010 Tom Neely was asked to create a comic book for The Melvins. It was published by Hydra Head Records as part of a limited edition box-set of the album (a) Senile Animal.
This book is currently sold out and out of print, but you can read the entire story by scrolling down this page.
In 2010 Tom Neely created a mini-comic called Doppelgänger in which a character named "döpeye" has an existential crisis and beats himself up for several pages. Oddly enough this little project got Neely the job drawing actual Popeye Comics for the IDW series written by Roger Langridge. Neely did pencils, inks, lettering and colors on the complete issue #3, as well as the Sappo back-up stories in issues #2 and #4.
Doppelgänger is NOW reprinted in Pastiche #1 - Buy it in the “Book Store” of this site
Döppelganger was reprinted in the Fantagraphics collection Treasury of Mini Comics Volume 2
Popeye Volume 1 collects all three of the Popeye stories.
